Earn Your Future Student Earns Over $ 400.00

Allen, TX (PRWEB) June 25, 2008

As the ’07-’08 school year comes to a close, so does the first of many years for the Earn Your Future program. With students earning over $ 400, the results of the program are very exciting and encouraging for co-founders David and Angela Leon. When asked about the programs success Angela states, “What could be better than watching students empower themselves by earning money for their future. The program has proven itself and now I am very eager to continue sharing it with families across the nation so their children can also benefit”. The Earn Your Future program is a resource geared toward rewarding report card grades. With this program, the money earned by the student can be placed in a 529 savings plan to help them save for college.

One of the goals of this program is to help students work harder at making better grades. Whether that has happened or not has yet to be proven, yet what has been proven is that it is very possible to earn over $ 400 a year using the Earn Your Future program. One student has earned an amazing $ 475.00 just by having six contributors and processing 5 report cards. This student still has another report card to process and should finish the year with over $ 550.00 earned for her hard work. When a student sees the end of the year balance, they feel empowered. It gives them a very real sense of accomplishment and ownership over their present and future.

While parents and students are enjoying their summer vacation, Earn Your Future Inc. is working on spreading the news about this fantastic program. They are also preparing for an additional phase of the program that will allow local businesses to turn their advertising money into college savings for local students, and are looking forward to sharing more details on this phase in the near future.

Domino’s In Leeds Raises Over £4,200 For Help For Heroes

Domino’s in Leeds raises over £4,200

(PRWEB UK) 20 November 2011

Six Domino’s Pizza stores in Leeds have raised over £4,200 for Help for Heroes. The fundraising took place as part of the Real Radio annual charity day last month.

Domino’s stores in Leeds city centre, Oulton, Guiseley, Headingley, Horsforth and Morley all ran a special Half for Heroes pizza promotion, whereby proceeds from medium and large pizza sales for a limited period were donated by Domino’s to Help for Heroes. Pizza lovers in Leeds got behind the fundraising and helped raise a staggering £4,278.47 for the charity.

Anil Patil, franchisee of the six Domino’s stores in Leeds who took part, said: “We were delighted to get involved with the Real Radio Help for Heroes fundraising day and do our bit to help raise funds with our Half for Heroes donations. The teams in our stores and our customers all got behind the fundraising and did a grand job to raise much needed funds for a very worthy cause. We are very pleased to be able to hand over this money for Help for Heroes.”

Steve South, Managing Director for Real Radio Yorkshire said; “We are delighted that Domino’s joined in our Help for Heroes day, along with a plethora of other businesses across Yorkshire. As part of our group, GMG Radio, we have raised in excess of £200,000 for the charity through this year’s day, and the outstanding support of Domino’s is appreciated by us and all those who will benefit through such fervent fundraising. We are very grateful to Domino’s for their support and look forward to working with them in the future.”

Real Radio’s annual charity day seeks to raise funds for Help for Heroes, which supports members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country.

In addition to the donations being made by Domino’s from the pizza, the stores also supported the Real Radio presenters with a team of Domino’s wobbleboaders and Domino’s mascot, Danny Domino, as they completed a truck pull from Elland Road to the Real Radio studios. Pete Egerton, one of the presenters, also joined the team at Domino’s to try his hand at pizza making in-store during the Half for Heroes promotion.

All Domino’s Pizza stores are charged with delivering more to their local community and actively get involved in supporting local initiatives. For more details, log onto http://www.dominos.co.uk.

In One Week, Over 258,000 Tracks Are Opted-In for CD Baby?s New Sync Licensing Service

In One Week, Over 258,000 Tracks Are Opted-In for CD Baby’s New Sync Licensing Service

CD Baby

Portland, OR (PRWEB) January 30, 2012

Over 258,000 independent artists have opted in for CD Baby’s new sync-licensing program in less than one week. The music licensing service, which is a free add-on to CD Baby’s core offering of worldwide digital and physical distribution, is the simplest solution for musicians who want to earn money by licensing their original music for film, TV, commercials, YouTube, and more.

In the last ten years, independent artists have generated significant income from traditional licensing opportunities in TV and film, but with YouTube quickly becoming the most popular online music-discovery platform, there are countless new opportunities to license music on a much smaller scale—what CD Baby’s music licensing partner Rumblefish calls “micro-sync.”

“We’re thrilled so many of our artists are interested in earning money by licensing their music,” said CD Baby president Brian Felsen, “We’re always trying to help open up new revenue streams for independent musicians, and sync licensing is a big one! Sure, you can make bundles of cash if your song is chosen as the theme song to the next prime-time hit, but you also can make money by getting your song in 500 home movies of cats doing cartwheels. We are giving independent artists the opportunity to do both. The equivalent of 9 years of video is uploaded to YouTube everyday. That’s a lot of video, and most of it could benefit from including some great independent music.”

CD Baby Sync Licensing, which launched last week, is powered by Portland-based Rumblefish, a leader in the music licensing industry. The program is free to all CD Baby members. Artists can choose to opt in (or opt out) at anytime.

“CD Baby has always been a leader in independent music, and we’re humbled to plug their amazing catalog into the worlds of social media and traditional sync licensing,” said Rumblefish Founder and CEO Paul Anthony. “The opportunities in sync licensing have never been bigger.”

In addition to being marketed for use in TV, movies and games, CD Baby artists’ music will be included in a database of songs that YouTube allows video-makers to choose from in their YouTube accounts.

“So if you or I upload a video of our birthday party or camping trip,” said Felsen, “YouTube will allow us to throw some music in the background with just a few clicks. You don’t even have to edit the video – it’s built into YouTube. When a CD Baby artist’s music is used, then that artist gets paid. If the video goes viral, the artist gets paid a lot.”

YouTube also will analyze and identify videos that contain CD Baby music prior to upload and pay royalties on those tracks as well. Artists will even get paid for the videos they upload themselves.

“We’re really excited that so many musicians are interested in this new sync licensing partnership,” said Felsen, “as it opens up new revenue streams for independent artists. Millions of people are watching music videos – and videos that feature music – on YouTube every day. Now artists will get paid for it.”

CD Baby is the largest digital distributor of independent music in the world. CD Baby distributes over 3.5 million tracks to dozens of music retailers including iTunes, Amazon, Google Music, Rhapsody, and Spotify, and pays artists weekly for their product sales. From their Portland, OR headquarters, CD Baby warehouses and ships over 360,000 independent CD titles to a customer base that spans the entire globe. The company also offers other services to musicians such as the ability to accept credit cards at shows, web hosting through their sister company HostBaby, and eBook distribution through BookBaby.
